A small journal entry with very little words; featuring photographs and sketches showing what inspires me from walks around the isle of Whalsay (or 'Whalsa' ;) ).
Studying the various textures and elements that make up the windswept landscape is always fascinating. Collating images and rough sketches that work together always brings more focus to projects. Having felt very unenthusiastic about developing new work for a while (I'm sure we've all felt this about something lately!), this has certainly me helped to feel more excited about developing work again.
